Can someone help, I used a facial hair color to dye my mustache darker but it went way too dark. Lighten?
I have an interview tomorrow, which was originally a week away, so I thought that I would have time for the color to lighten naturally a bit. I used one of those just-for-men coloring kits from the grocery store, and the color is too dark and my interview is tomorrow. Does anybody know of anything (other than dying it again) that would make the color of the mustache lighten up a bit?
Any cheap shampoo should remove at least some of the color. White Rain (do they still make that?), Suave, … I don’t really know the names of shampoo brands, but you get my drift.
Usually color starts to fade after 3 or 4 shampoos, depending on the saturation of the dye in the follicle.
You could try a peroxide and baking soda paste, let it sit for a bit then wash out. You’ll know what is working by how much color is in the sink while rinsing.

Develop the muscles in your neck by doing ‘chin ups’
They’re like sit ups but keep your back on the floor. Just raise your chin as far as you can and then lower it. I just do a set of 10 a day, but it makes a big difference. Also, for a slender, long neck: Tilt head to right (10 secs), tilt to left (10 secs), turn head to right (10 secs), turn to left (10 secs)
For your upper arms get some weights. Start with smaller ones and then you can move up in mass. How many on each arm depends on you, you want to work your arms but don’t pull any muscles! They don’t have to be expensive either, if you really can’t get any improvise and use something such as a soup can or bottle of water.
EDIT: I play the flute and piccolo, though have never really thought about the benefits, but I guess this would make sense. I do know that violinists (or players of similar instruments) do develop a double chin. However I by no means wish you to stop playing a violin if you have one. Play an instrument if you love to do so. Likewise do not jump and get a flute if you don’t already have one, they’re expensive in themselves as are books and lessons, and need many hours practise (well don’t get one just for exercise benefits anway)
