Facial Hair Removal Wax

Does any1 know a good facial hair removal?

I wanna remove my facial hair without laser or wax treatment. Any ideias??

You don’t actually say whether you’re male or female.

If you’re female and if there’s not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with, for example, a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn’t a simple answer.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone — doesn’t happen to all girls, but does to many

2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching — when someone sees you against the light you’ll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it’s worth remembering that

* Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you’ve got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

* Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

* Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

* Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. Best done with a men’s-style Electric Razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men’s range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men’s Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

Shear Scissor

Shear Scissor
What are the best professional dog grooming clippers?

I am looking to buy a real pair of clippers for doing my dogs and to possibly get into professional grooming as well.
Experienced groomers, what are the best kind of clippers and any other tools (scissors, thinning shears, brushes, etc ) do you use and recommend on a daily basis.
I have bought some from Petsmart for like 60 bucks and then after 5-6 haircuts they are junk! Also they heat up and make lines in the dog’s coat.
Advice is appreciated!

Osters, Wahls and Andis are the best brands out there. A variety of blades of different lengths. A good pair of 8 1/2″ straight shears, a pair of fine thinning shears, and possibly a pair of curved shears are good for a beginning groomer. A variety of slicker brushes, rakes, combs of different sizes, Mar coat king, furminator, and a good quality pair of nail trimmers can make up the rest of your kit. The thing that you need most is the knowledge of using this equipment in an efficient and humane manner.

Waxing Kit

Wax Beauty Care – Men Love it Too

One of the movements in beauty care in past years has been that of hair removal. It seems as if hair is positively out and everyone wants a smooth, hairless body. In reality, the human body is almost completely covered with hair, with the exception of the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. This makes for a worthwhile business for those who are licensed for hair removal. Although there is more than one hair removal method to choose from, wax beauty care has long been one of the most common methods of removing hair. And women are not the only ones buying into this American beauty Skin Care removal craze. Men are also among frequent clients, getting their backs, chests and other areas hair-free with hair waxing.

Waxing has long been a favorite method of those seeking to be smooth. Waxing requires hot wax to be poured on the area and then withdrawn by having strips stuck on and pulled off along with unwanted hair. Although this method is often painful, it is cost effective and can last a while, which keeps many customers coming back for more American beauty skin care. Another selling point for some is that waxing can be applied by professionals in a salon or can be done in your own home with one of many self-waxing kits sold in stores. For people not wanting to spend a lot of money or have the process done in a public salon, home waxing can seem ideal.

There are a number of areas on the human body that people choose for wax beauty care. Women have made waxing extremely popular for their legs and bikini areas, particularly during summer months. Since waxing keeps areas hair free longer than shaving and often prevents the area from becoming irritated with small red bumps like shaving sometimes does, waxing has grown more and more popular. However, while shaving can be done to smooth areas with even the shortest stubble of hair sprouting up, to wax an area you must wait until a certain length of hair has grown in so the wax has a substantial length of hair to grip onto and pull out. Another benefit of waxing is that the treatment makes hair grow back finer each time. That means that each time the hair grows back after waxing it will be thinner and easier to eliminate.

Since bikini waxing has become so popular in recent years, there have been a number of different bikini waxes designed depending on how much hair a woman wants removed. This allows women to have a number of choices when it comes to bikini waxes. Most of the time, the person working in the salon where you get your bikini wax will be able to help you if you are unsure about what type of wax you are seeking. However, numerous women have an idea in mind when they schedule their waxing appointment. Standard bikini waxes remove the hair around the bikini line, making more attractive to wear a bathing suit. This is perhaps the utmost popular bikini wax. However, the waxing does not stop there. A full bikini wax eradicates all pubic hair except for a strip, while a Brazilian bikini wax takes off all hair in the bikini area. The names of the waxes can vary from salon to salon but these are typically the varieties of waxes offered.

Wax beauty care, particularly bikini waxing, is done in a private part of the salon, so do not worry about others viewing your wax. Your position during a bikini wax is quite similar to your position during a gynecological exam. If you are desiring a full or Brazilian wax you may find that it is necessary for you to get into different positions for the person doing the waxing to reach all areas of hair. But since salon employees who administer bikini waxes likely do numerous waxes each day, they are used to the process and you should not feel embarrassed. Results of bikini waxing typically last anywhere from ten to twenty days, then you will likely be ready for another American beauty skin care appointment. And keep in mind that since the hair must be a certain length in order to be erased with waxing, you will have to go at least a few days with a considerable amount of stubble.

Facial Hair Pcos

PCOS + facial hair…please HELP!?

I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and my symptoms seem to keep getting worse. I have very bad facial hair on my neck, chin, upper and lower lip and sideburns. I have tried shaving, tweezing, the Tweeze, creams, laser hair removal, Nair etc and while some of them helped remove the hair temporarily (for 1 or 2 days!) it was replaced by terrible acne. I have poor skin to begin with and it’s SO sensitive. Nothing I try works and it’s getting worse. Does anyone have any ideas that will help remove the hair from all of these areas and NOT cause acne on my super sensitive skin? Please help…it’s getting so bad I don’t want to leave the house!

Ignore the t w a t there, he’s just an insensitive imbecile..Well, seen as you’ve tried everything and you’re not getting results par ce i would have to recommend visiting a doctor, since pcos is caused by a hormonal imbalance you might see about trying Diannette, which will increase your oestrogen levels in turn helping balance out the progesterone which causes acne and excessive facial hair. I too have pcos so can sympathise though I’ve never had excessive amounts of facial hair, though my top lip i would wax weekly..I do hope you can rectify this, must be making you miserable..
E-mail anytime if you ever need to talk about this as i do suffer with other symptoms of pcos..
